Why I made Rutrack?
I had been using prominent expense tracking apps for a while now. The apps that read your SMS messages and auto-tracked all your expenses[not all the time]. Yet, I never learnt the most important habit with tracking expenses.
Manually tracking expenses is boring. Yet, it teaches us something that automated trackers don’t.
Deep down, the goal of an expense-tracking app is not just to track expenses, but also to help you spend less and save more.
When you log a 25RS chai-sutta break on Rutrack and realize that you’re now over the monthly budget limit, it forces you to build a habit of not overspending.
That’s my goal with RuTrack.
Track expenses regularly. Spend less. Save More. So far, the app has been helping me build that habit[p.s. shameless self-testimonial lol]
Unlike apps that can read your personal SMS messages, upsell you with loans & insurances, and send you annoying ads, RuTrack doesn’t do any of that.
